1. What types of photography do you do?
We specialise in photography services in Gauteng for Weddings, Lobola, Business, corporate, and government. We also love portraits, Professional headshots, birthday shots, model or solo shoots, graduation shoots, fashion e-commerce and editorial style advertising shoots. We work directly with many small and large well-known Brands and have many great working relationships with Marketing and Event Managers. And a few start-up businesses too.
2. Why should I hire a professional photographer & videographer?

If you’re looking for a certain kind of photograph, there are specific flashes, lenses, cameras, and even film (yes! It still exists) that are designed to complete that task. This equipment is often pretty pricey for the average person to just have on hand, much less know exactly how to use.
When used correctly, we can create an image -- a memory, a gift -- that will last a lifetime.
2. Vision, Guidance, and Artistry
When you have a professional photographer, you get to receive our attention and vision. We have a trained eye and plenty of experience, and can save you a lot of hassle and time trying to correct mistakes or re-do the pictures entirely.
We take into account the lighting, contrast, color, lines, composition, and design of each frame.
You’ll also get the added value of our guidance. We can look at different aspects of the shots and tell you what might need to be changed, moved, smoothed out, tilted, or adjusted in any way. We are true professionals and confident enough to let you know if the shots being taken are working -- or not.
3. You Get To Relax and Actually Be in the Photos
There’s a lot of energy output when you’re in the middle of organizing an event or wrangling your family. Sometimes it can feel like you’re barely keeping it all together, rather than truly honing in on a vision.

4. We Have Post-Production Skills
As professional photographers have the skill (and software) to edit your photos after they’ve been taken. We’ll use our expertise to bring out the light and color, or make other modifications, to enhance your images.
In the end, you’ll wind up with beautiful imagery and a depiction of a moment, a place, and loved ones, captured with ease, skill, and respect. And you never had to shed a tear to make it happen.
3. Are deposits refundable?
We do not deal with deposits, we deal with retainers instead. A retainer is an advanced payment used to secure the timing of the services to be provided. In this case a R500 retainer is required to secure a given date. While a 50% of the total payment is required before the Photoshoot takes place, while 100% is required before editing of the pictures begins.
WHEN WILL MY DEPOSIT BE REFUNDED?
If a Photoshoot takes place your deposit will directly go towards paying the outstanding balance.
UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD I LOSE MY RETAINER?
By paying the Retainer, you are committing to your agreed appointment time and date. Appointments can be re-arranged with at least TWO working day's notice (we class working days as Monday - Friday 8am-6pm). Customers are permitted to one rebook per voucher. Cancelling completely will forfeit the retainer, so you do need to complete the experience to have it refunded. 4. When will we get our finished prints?
If you booked for finished prints, these will be delivered the same time as your digital images. This can take 2 weeks up to 5 weeks maximum.
5. Do you include digital images?
Yes, all our Photoshoots come with digital images, that can be delivered via a download link or given via a USB drive.
6. How much are your photography services?
The prices vary from R1 200 for our Model / Solo Shoots. And our weddings from R8 000 to R15 000. Please see our services page for a full breakdown of our prices.
7. What’s your cancellation / rescheduling policy?
Strictly 2 business days are required for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations that happen with less than 2 business days result in the forfeiture of the Deposit / retainer fee.
8. How long will our session take?
This entirely depends on how many hours you have booked. I usually arrive 45 minutes early to just scout the place for good lighting, set up my equipment and also discuss how the shoot will go from poses, to location etc.
9. Do you backup or otherwise secure images for protection?
Yes, as soon as we get back to our studio, we back the photos to 3 separate storages: our external server, online in the cloud and lastly onto a separate work station. This ensures that if God-forbid we lose one we can always get them from the other 2 location
10. Do I get the copyright/ownership of my photos?
Ownership and copyright resides with us. We license them to you for personal use and non-profit use. Non-profit use includes posting on your social media and distributing to your friends, family acquaintances. Any commercial use is strictly forbidden. Any and all commercial and profit use has to be granted in the form of a contract.
