We want to experience this with you, we want to capture this day for you!
We work great together as a photography and videography team, but you can of course book any of these services separately. What puts us streets ahead of a lot of people in this industry is our genuine love for photographing and filming weddings. We are passionate about wedding photography, we enjoy the romance, passion, pressure, party and the honour to be involved with such a big and joyous occasion. We just LOVE LOVE!
It is very important that you must feel relaxed in the company of your photographer of choice, you can have the best wedding photographer to shoot your wedding but if you are not relaxed in his/her company it will show on the photographs. Our brides always say that we were like an extra bridesmaid at the wedding. We consider that as a compliment… it means they were relaxed around us. Let’s meet each other for coffee before you make any final choices, we are talking about your one special day, and the photographs you are going to show people for the rest of your life! Because this is our full time profession and we do this at least once a week we will also have a very calming influence on you on your wedding day. A calm and relaxed bride and groom = stunning photos and video.
How much time do we spend with you on your wedding day? There is no time limit, we will spend as much time as is necessary with you on your wedding day to get the best shots possible and to tell the story of EVERYTHING that happened on the day! We will make sure that everybody and everything that’s important has been photographed. Although we will take the formal posed pictures you can be sure that there will be a lot of natural looking candid photos of you and your guests.
The equipment that we use are of the highest quality to ensure your satisfaction. We also bring backup equipment with, should something unforeseen happen to our gear. The amount of photos we take during the wedding does not influence the price, we take as many photographs as possible to ensure that every special moment is captured. You also get all the original photos that we take. At the office we use state of the art computers to edit on and we have backup servers on the premises to make sure that your photos and videos are backed up and safe if one of our computers should crash. One of the most important aspects of photography and videography nowadays is the editing of the photos and video after it’s been taken. Our editing are done in house. Your photos and video will be edited to accurately reflect the mood and character of your wedding. Your best photos and highlight version of your video will be uploaded unto our website www.photography.milkywaygroup.co.za together with a story of what happened on your wedding day and how the two of you have met.
Pricing PLANS
Traveling will be charged at R3.00 per km. We will require overnight accommodation, if the wedding is more than 200km from our office in Pretoria.
We don’t include any photo prints in our prices. We do however offer prints as an add-on. View our add-on options at the bottom of the page.
We realize that because of Covid-19 and to save money, some couples are going to opt for much smaller weddings where they might not require a photographer for a whole day. We now offer our services at a hourly rate.
1 HOUR – R1 500 – 100 PHOTOS
2 HOURS – R3 000 – 200 PHOTOS
3 HOURS – R4 000 – 300 PHOTOS
ADDITIONAL HOURS – R1 000 PER HOUR
We will also charge R3.00 p/km for travelling.
